Located 60 kilometers from Pattaya, the par-72 course at Treasure Hill opened in 1994 and is a bit further out than most of the other area courses. However, it is popular with locals and visitors looking for low green fees and an enjoyable day on the links.
Treasure Hill Golf & Country Club setting in the scenic countryside takes around 50 minutes to reach from Pattaya. The surrounding environment is peaceful while at the same time the rolling hills make for some good golf challenges. The area is void of any houses as many mature trees line the fairways and the jungle is outside the course.
At first glance Treasure Hill looks to be unassuming but don’t be fooled, it has a mix of water hazards, narrow sloping fairways, and sometimes tricky green complexes. There are only a few bunkers, but they are large. Several holes play as doglegs which require accurate tee shots. Greens are small, undulated, and the grass can be sometimes patchy.
The signature hole is the crocodile hole 16. The par-5 features a concrete crocodile in the pond left of the green. Long hitters might have a go in two, but most will opt to lay-up in front of the crocodile pond.
